Introduction to GH Secretagogues
Growth hormone secretagogues (GHS) stimulate the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. Two of the most studied are CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin.
CJC-1295
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analogue modified to extend its half-life. Research applications include pituitary function studies and IGF-1 axis investigations.
Ipamorelin
Ipamorelin is a selective GH secretagogue acting on the ghrelin receptor, characterised by high selectivity for GH release.
